Don't let someone's fear hinder you, your goals, your ambitions, your dreams.
Our gut has an interesting way of telling us who we are suppose to be.
Listen to it.
Don't doubt the that you are destined for greatness.
Just be courageous enough to go out and get it.
As a 20 something, I find myself in this consistent battle of where I should be, what I should be doing, how I should be doing it.... you get it. Most of us encounter this battle at one point or another. The reason we have this battle is because we have this picture of what's appropriate, acceptable and safe drawn out for us our whole lives.
"Tanja, I just don't want you to be discouraged if you fail. I'm afraid your dreams are throwing you off track. You have a good job, with good benefits. Be grateful."
I'm grateful.
I'm so grateful for my life.
my family.
my friends.
my experiences.
my job.
my mentors.
HOWEVER.
When you're born with wings- you'll hate yourself if you just glide and never soar.
Don't hinder yourself with societal expectations.
It's frustrating when people try to ground something that's not meant to be grounded.
Often, it comes from the heart. Fear for someone's well being. Fear of failure. Fear of heartbreak.
Sometimes these words are enough to stop you in your tracks, but the reality is that there is nothing more exhilarating than stepping through a new set of doors. There's always something fantastic waiting on the other side.
LEAP.
