HUMBLED

Because when people do things with passion, it shows. Tell me this didn't pull at your heart strings.

This video struck close as my dad suffered from stuttering while I was growing up.

Before the war, his speech was fine, but during and after the war, with a combination of ringing ears and fear, the stuttering began.

A passionate man he is, and when he's steaming passionate about a topic of conversation, his stuttering comes to the surface till this day.

Over the years dads stuttering improved immensely, and I don't think I understood or sympathized with the grueling journey. As a kid, it was just normalized to me. I understood when he was happy with me and understood when he was not.

Big up to pops for not only overcoming this, but so much more in a foreign land, to where he finds himself today, running a tight ship in cold Alberta.

There's no better feeling then when someone tells you they are proud and inspired by you. Dad, you do that for me. Everyone needs to be reminded how much they are loved.

You're my biggest fan, and I'm yours.

 Your youngin',
