Fell upon this and think its really cool! We are living in a new era, we really are. Apparently ipads aren't as useless as I initially thought they were....they're still pretty useless aren't they? I sort of want one. I'm a hypocrite. haha.

Sweater Weather

I'm a pretty simple dresser. Classic style, so James Perse is one of my favorites. I definitely buy his tee's on sale because I am a hardcore believer that you should not splurge on tee's. Sweater Weather is just around the corner and I reallllllyyy like these, especially for campus. Comfort intertwined with style is the best way to go for any uni student.

COOL Stove.

You must be reading that title and thinking WTF, how can any stove be cool. Be seriously this is cool. Jon and Kate plus 8 could really use one of these. This thing lets you cook 15 things instead of 4!!! I don't even know why I am obsessing over it, I hate cooking, but I want one of these. Check out "The William".

You know what's really annoying me though...these ugly cupboards and the nasty counter top. I would pair this stove with some concrete counter tops. A local from Edmonton could take care of this for you. Check out CONCRETE CAT.

FOUR!

He's four! Yeap and he is sooo proud to be four! "Aunty I am four, Aunty I am four. Next year I will be five." Oh lord, time plllleasee slow down. He is so excited to grow up and while I love watching him grow up I miss the little guy who needed my help and always wanted to give me kisses and hugs. Ahhh.

The other day I felt like his mom. My sister was throwing a garage sale because she has an overwhelming amount of kids clothes. She put all of his sneakers out for sale...I broke down. "You can't sell these!" "Why are you selling these! "These are my favorite and he would want you to keep them." I ended up keeping most of them. It's some kind of emotional connection I have to them. I remember how happy he was when he got them. "These are my new COOL soccer shoes" (with a little lisp haha), "These are my flames shoes" (vans with flames). Needless to say, I am freaking out of what I will be like when and if I have my own kids...I might become an obsessive hoarder...and I think hoarding is one of my biggest fears. Wahhhhh.

Good-Byes are tough...new beginnings are exciting!

One of my girl friends is moving to Toronto and when we went shopping for house furnishings for her I was so envious...I want to be doing that, not going back to school. In this case I think about Dory saying 'just keep swimming, just keep swimming'...Tanja your day will come soon enough..don't rush life, it already flys by way too fast! While I am so happy for Juliana I know that this year will not be the same without her! Ugh I feel like sobbing. CUT IT OUT! I have created soooo many memories with Juliana these last couple years and I will never forget them!  I will speak on behalf of all of us girls and say that she has been a great friend. You are always there for us; through the good times and the bad and this is what we appreciate the most. This year is going to be so exciting for you and I am proud of you for taking the next leap and not staying at home! So here it is, your little congrats note to get you on your way! Don't look back but please don't forget about all of us!

On a positive note, at least we get to come to TO and visit and shop till we drop, literally. Any one of our close friends you ask will agree with me here: when Juliana shops she gets this adrenaline rush. You know when Peter Parker turns into Spider Man in a time of need...well yea its the same thing Juliana turns into an extreme shopper in a time of need! I can't wait to experience some new shopping adventures in Buffalo, NY, Montreal and Toronto!
