My dad just got back from a buisness trip and brought me back this book as a little congrats for finishing my third year of uni. Inside he inscribed: "With love, your dad :). PS. a little late but never too late."
It was a prefect gift to start my summer vacation. Before classes finished I had a meeting with one of my profs and he ended up giving me some pretty valuable advice. Something along the lines of...Tanja read! Read when your running, read when you don't want to, read when your sleeping. Read, read, read; it will change your life more than you will ever know. I love reading but I don't do it enough...this summer I am taking his advice and I encourage everyone else to.
Anyway, never crossed my mind to read the book at all and then I started reading it and haven't been able to put it down. It's such a relief to be reading real books and not economics textbooks. I am so done with supply, demand, marginal revenue and Solow models! Four months to read whatever I want- pure bliss!
