The photos were taken is Macedonia; Lake Ohrid and the monastery of St. Naum. The Monastery is about 20 miles out of Ohrid and 1 mile from the Albanian border. When you walk into this monestary you actually realize how old and how beautiful it is. What an amazing place this is; I am so glad I got to see it last summer and snap some shots!
While its a difficult place to find and the drive is long, it is well worth it. Not many people can say they have gone to Macedonia and been that close to the Albanian border!
